Antler Music's Ep "Bang Bang" is the soundtrack to the experience of life in Oakland, Ca. It's the journey of finding love as well as finding violence around every corner. The music speaks of the tension and release of living in hostile urban environments. The album starts off on the move, feeling positive and optimistic, and the energy never lets down in intensity but the scenes change and the tension builds to finally resolve to a sweet release ready for whatever's next.

In the course of a year, the witnessing of two shootouts that left four people dead while at the same time rediscovering love are the elements that have informed this work. They play against each other, reflecting each other's qualities and deepening the perspective of one another. "Bang Bang" speaks to waking up to life and its variety of experiences.
